Subject: Re: 2008 chevy silverado 2500 on Craigslist
Thanks, nice to finally be able to reach you directly.
In my original message I was saying that it's still available and that I have a small family emergency, which is not that important because I am selling it through AST anyway, so my situation has nothing to do with the sale I was just explaining my situation...
If you are familiar with AST then you know what I mean, if not I'll be happy to walk you through it.
Also feel free to ask any questions.

The only way that I will purchase is if I can look at it in person, pay for it and transport it away. Of course for vehicles, this requires legal transfer of ownership.
How did you want to proceed so I can view the vehicle.

No problem, there you have more pictures first and I apologize for not mentioning the whole thing from the beginning. AST stands for ACCO Transactions (acco-transactions dot com) which is an online consignment service and a quick look on their website should pretty much give you an idea of how they work or what they are exactly, but since I owe you an explanation, I'll give it a try... I'm just not good at explaining things LOL.
To be clear from the beginning, I am a private seller not a dealer, so I own the truck, it's just being sold at consignment.
Right now, the truck is in their possession, so assuming you would want to buy it, you just need to register on their website. That's fast and free, they will need only the necessary info to start the transaction. As soon as you register, you practically start the transaction, so they will send you an invoice with clear instructions on how to send the payment, how to confirm it, etc. You will also have a transaction ID number so you can check your transaction progress at any time. That's something like an account with them where you can find everything you need to know about your transaction in real time.
After the payment is sent and confirmed, they will start the shipping process which usually takes between 3 and 5 working days, at least that's what they say on their website. The truck also comes with a free 7 day money back guarantee which is a standard guarantee for all items sold on Craigslist through their system. That can be extended, but it costs money and I personally believe that 7 days are more than enough to inspect anything.
This guarantee starts the day you sign the delivery papers and gives the buyer the possibility of returning the item with no questions asked, with the seller paying for the whole process. They will also hand you all the documents and everything the vehicle comes with. So if you decide to keep it, they will pay me, if you decide to return it they will give you a full refund immediately.
Like I said, the shipping takes between 3 and 5 days and it comes out of their sales commission, so that's not your concern either.
Hopefully I got everything covered, but feel free to ask any questions. Sorry if I missed anything but like I said, I was never good at explaining things clearly, so you can find more info on their website if that helps with anything.
